7.5 Tonne Lorry: 4 movers, about 5 hours loading and unloading; £1,050

Before moving day

Before moving day in St Albans

Three things that decide how a move runs at any address. Tell us about them when you ask for a quote.

Parking at both addresses
Is there somewhere a van can legally stop close to the door? If a bay needs suspending, the council will want notice — often a week or more.
Floors, stairs and lifts
Which floor, and does a lift take furniture? Stairs are charged by the flight from the first floor up, and a working lift removes the charge.
The carry to the door
A long walk from the van, a narrow gate or a tight stairwell changes the time a job takes. Tell us, and it is planned rather than found.

Office & Commercial Removals in St Albans: common questions

Do you cover all of St Albans?

Yes. We cover all of St Albans and the rest of Hertfordshire, and we move people to and from anywhere in the UK. A long-distance move is priced from the same rate card as a local one — it just has more miles on it.

What are your prices for office & commercial removals in St Albans?

The same as everywhere we work — our rates do not change by postcode. For example, 7.5 tonne lorry: £1,050 (4 movers, about 5 hours loading and unloading). Loading and unloading labour only. Driving time, mileage between your two addresses, stairs (£10 per person, per flight, per hour at that address) and desk dismantling are added in your written quote, with larger sites run as several loads. Your itemised written quote arrives within 24 hours.

How far is St Albans from your nearest office?

About 17 miles from our London office. The time in your quote runs from the crew's arrival at your address, and the mileage is worked out from the road distance between your two addresses.

What size of business do you move?

Anything from a single serviced office to a multi-floor site. The vehicle and crew are scaled to the job — up to a 7.5 tonne lorry with a four-person crew.

Can you move us over a weekend?

Yes. The crew and vehicle are booked for the day you need, and a weekend move is planned the same way as a weekday one. Sunday and bank holiday starts carry a published surcharge, which your quote shows as its own line.

Do you dismantle desks and office furniture?

Yes. Dismantling and reassembly is charged per item at a published rate, from £40 for standard desks and office furniture, subject to a £90 minimum booking, rather than folded into the hourly rate.
