Driving-licence and vehicle-log-book address changes are official-record tasks, so use GOV.UK rather than third-party forms or generic checklist advice. The processes for a licence and V5C are related but separate.
Use the official route
Check the current GOV.UK address-change guidance for your licence, V5C, vehicle-tax Direct Debit and any personalised-registration documents. Save confirmation details after applying. This article is a reminder to check the official process, not a substitute for it.
Your next step: Changing Your Driving Licence and V5C Address After Moving
Turn the article into a short note for your own changing your driving licence and v5c address after moving: record the facts that affect the decision, check them against the relevant official or provider guidance, and confirm anything booking-specific in writing. That keeps useful preparation separate from assumptions about a particular move.
